    Upgrade to ZHP brakes

    All,

What route do we have to upgrade (upsize) our stock brakes w/o going to a big brake kit? My understanding is M3 brakes are slightly bigger, but would require new spindles/uprights. Although you could jump to CSL brakes with M3 spindles. There also seems to be more options for rotors. I am not looking for track brakes, just upgraded street brakes.

My understanding of the discussions we've had is that there are minimal gains without going to a BBK - and even then, the return on investment is questionable.

Most of the guys that have done it do it for looks (drilled/slotted).

You can talk to Ray (Smilez) about options. He'd hook you up with a kit.

you can go with Porsche brakes. with custom brakets. and csl rotors. would run you about 1500 or less. cheaper than 2.5k brembo

but if you not tracking then really no need for them.

Makes sense, but since I have never held up 330, M3 and CSL pads next to each other to compare pad size I didn't know. My understanding is they are mostly a rotor size increase not necessarily pad.
