Question Looking for Opinions on a Lift / Hoist

Ok-- I've talked my brother-in-law into going halves on a lift which we are going to put in his detached 3 car garage. The DIYer in me is very excited about this.

Does anybody have any opinions about 2 post vs. 4 post?

Anything in particular to look for or to avoid?

That garage is sick! Don't know that I'd ever set foot in my house again if I had that.

There would no reason to go in the house, just make the wife come to the garage when needed.
