Understandably, we will have members coming from up and down the east coast and even some from midwestern states like Ohio.So it will be beneficial to have a meeting location near the venue to meet before driving in.

Details (Location/Time):
Working on time and possible location for the various ZHPMafia caravans to meet before driving into Bimmerfest East. I will include times (potential agenda), location, maps, etc. I hope to find a location that is near the venue and is in close proximity to food and manual car wash bays (for those of us that are travelling great distances or want to spiff up the rides before rolling over).

Friday
If you are interesting in arriving Friday, there are a number of hotels/motels in close proximity to the meeting spot or Ripken stadium. I heard on Bimmerfest Forums that there is a BBQ at Super 8 near the stadium on Friday night. There are also hotels/motels all over the Baltimore area within driving distance.
Saturday
Right now I'm planning on having us meet the morning of August 6, 2011, about 10 miles away in Bel Air, MD off of US Hwy 1 (see map below).

Update: Bimmerfest East 2011 starts at 10 am.
Update: Gabe (Gheybe) provided me with some great insights on the successful Bimmerfest West 2011 caravan he planned. The times and stops proposed below are very loose. Leave yourself some additional time to account for unforeseen amounts of traffic. As we get closer, I'll ask for everyone's contact information and give you my cellphone. I'll also plan on bringing a set of handheld radios (walkie talkies). If you are running late (by a few minutes) or will be unavoidably detained (for an hour or so), let us know. I personally think it's more important for the caravan to roll together - so we'll be doing this low (key) and slow.
Proposed Itinerary - Updated with new start time for Bimmerfest
8:00 am - Meet at Double T Diner for breakfast.
8:45 am - Finish breakfast.
9:00 am - 9:30 am - Socialize with Mafiosos. Last minute wipe down of car.
9:30 am - Drive to Ripken Stadium (10.9 miles, 22 minutes).
10:00 am - Arrive at Ripken Stadium. Wait in line of cars to park inside Bimmerfest.
10:00 am - 3:00 pm - Enjoy Bimmerfest East 2011
