    Pads for performance brakes?

    Hey all,

    After getting my ZHP today, it's time to address the rear brake pads. They are almost gone. I have the performance rotors that are drilled and was wondering what pads you guys are running? I don't track the car but would like something that performs better than street pads.

    Thanks!

    Ok. This may seem stupid but PBR ultimate pads are only $40...is there a difference between those and the Hawk ceramic pads which are $80?

    Man, if it were me, I'd stick with stock pads to get the most life out of those performance rotors.. You can't find those rotors anymore!

    Do you have a link to the stock pads at a good price?

    I am however interested in possibly tracking my car in the future. So a pad that is ok for some track use but mostly daily driving with low dust and without too much noise would be ideal.

    So I can't get anymore BMW performance rotors anywhere?

    Thanks Dane.

    After doing an hour or so of reading here. I am leaning towards ceramic pads over stock. For the reduced dust and better performance.

    First choice is probably hawk hps pads from what I've read. Good choice for the performance rotors?

    I was also looking at the PBR ceramic pads. I don't know a lot about brakes so the 1,000,000 types of brake pads are so confusing haha. So many options.

    I've heard good things about;
    -PBR
    -Hawk

    and a few others but is there really that big of a difference between ceramic and regular? Such as between the Hawk HPS/Hawk Ceramic and PBR deluxe/PBR ceramic?
