Right now we are at 176 unique visitors and 3100 page views. Modest numbers relative to other sites but the most we've had here.

I agree, Kayger. At this point, we're using MediaTemple's grid service (shared service). However, I can upgrade and get a server that is dedicated to our site only. We'll see if that becomes necessary. I never, ever imagined that it would be necessary. I'm not sure we ever will be that busy but I am keeping my eye on it.
I do not like the slowdowns that the site is suffering from during the day (once or twice a day).

What's interesting is that the site is busy right this moment. The site is running pretty quick. I think it's during the day, when more people are taxing MediaTemple's servers, that we're suffering.

Just blew by our old record. We're now at 3600 page views. That's 500 page views in less than an hour (40 minutes to be exact). The number of visitors is now at a record. Therefore, we're working on record traffic from here on out for the rest of the evening.
