    Find out options from the factory

    Hey everyone

    Not sure if this has been posted here on this forum or not so here goes...

    I found this at the e46Fanatics website and thought I would share this here on this forum for those interested in finding out exactly what their BMWs came with from the factory. Mike has offered his services to look up information so that he could pass this info along to everyone.

    Anyway to get this info without joining the e46fanatics zoo?
    325i, 2005, 5MT, Silvergrey, leatherette, Sport package; CDV delete, KONI STR-T & KYB Excel-G, Weisslichts, Stewart H2O pump

    328i, 2010, 6MT, Spacegrey, dakota leather, M-sport packages; has a 330 intake but no tune - yet

    You can send email to Mike Kent <thebmwpartstore@gmail.com>. From there just follow the instructions as listed in the discussion thread and he will get back to you...

    Interesting information about what your BMW (by unique VIN #) came with....nice to keep with your records if you are into that sort of thing...

    You can also have someone with DIS or NCS-Expert read your car's vehicle order (VO or FA, the list of installed options); unless someone has recoded your car with a new VO, it'll be the factory list.
