Alright, getting close to being ready to pull the trigger when I find the right car and this one is a contender. Listed at $15999 on the website and $15499 on Craigslist. I know for a fact they will come down to $15k and that's without any real negotiation yet. Prices seem to be all over the place on these cars but what do you guys think of this one at $15k?
The Craigslist ad from 4 days ago lists it at $15,499 so you're already half way down to $15k (link: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/ctd/4980422191.html)

Ah yeah, I saw that, just wanted to pass along the ad/public price. As for price itself: after looking for a ZHP for 7+ months I found that while there is a vague general mentality behind ZHP pricing, it can be all over the place. With the way these cars seem to sell (see: very quickly for well maintained examples), if you find one that checks all the right boxes I would go for it. $15k is a bit high IMO, but if you think you can talk them down more and it's what you want, it's definitely not the worst proposition in the world.

On the whole convertibles seem to command a lower price than coupes/sedans (at least from what I saw during my search), but when you find one with a manual it seems to negate that price difference at lower miles (sub 90k). Throw in a desirable color combo, navigation, Cold Weather Package, and Premium Package and you're looking at a low miles, manual transmission, fully loaded car. Plus, this car is being sold by a dealer so it will usually have a premium price over a private party.

All in all, as Fredo said, it's probably a reasonable price. Especially if you can negotiate down further from $15k.

Probably in the right pricing ballpark. Just know if you don't have a good history on it you will need to "invest" money into coming system, bushings, etc as they tend to go at the 10 year mark. YAMMV.
Beautiful color combo and Alcantara is the way to go IMO for a vert.
Would not suppose me if EAG scoped this one.

Assuming it doesn't need any work, $15k sounds reasonable. Great looking car!

Guys, an 06 Imola Ci (auto) with 49k is at $17,000 in Memphis. Autotrader. No real good pics yet, but seems to have all the options I like, except for 6 mt. Most of my driving is suburban,so that might make sense. I'll try and figure out the link. Have not seen Carfax yet; they are supposed to email me. Any thoughts? Maybe a tad high. Also, out of area so tought to look at

    thanks Ed

EDIT: found the "dealer's" link (here: http://www.autonation.com/memphis/us...BD534X6PL18021). You can click on the CarFax there. There is a reported accident

    On 01/23/2015 in Tennessee:

    Accident reported
Vehicle involved in a front end collision
    Involving rear impact
    with another motor vehicle
    Minor damage reported
    Airbags did not deploy

It's been in an accident and has had 5 owners. Go to the dealer website, there are pics and a link to the Carfax. Based on that, yes the price is high.

    Curves beat me to it!

Guys you are awesome. At that price, I don't think I will take the trip. I just went thru the accident thing 2 years ago with a Honda. Not a problem, except paint doesn't match. Was involved in some minor front end thing right before I got it. I think the search will go on.
