Purchase Location: Hillside, New Jersey (now with me here in Foothill Ranch, CA)
    Purchase Date: February 8th, 2011
    Price: $23,998
    Mileage at purchase: 53,814
    Year/Model/Color: 2003 330i Sedan Imola Red
    Private party

Similar car to VWPOWA's. It Imola, sunroof delete, no folding seats. Welcome, btw.

Steady work in progress despite it being advertised as perfect. 99% of the way there though. This one isn't the most fuel efficient. Can't wait to get the VentureShield clear bra on the front so I can start drafting (and saving).

    Purchase Date: 3/20/11
    Purchase Location: Milford DE
    Purchase Price: $21K
Options are ZHP, Harmon Kardon, adaptive xenons, gray leather, cold weather pkg
Window sticker $45695, original owner paid no less than $45501.38 (she left her bank acct withdrawal receipts in the glove)
Car is in excellent condition for its age

I think someone at the dealership where I bought it may have driven it over the winter, b/c it was for sale with 13K miles in Nov. at the same (Toyota) dealership. I know this b/c another somewhat regretful ZHP Mafia member had looked at it in Nov and then been told it was sold right around Xmas. When I bought it 4 months later it had 3k more miles and somebody had smoked the windows. I haven't pulled a new Carfax on it, so I don't know if it was registered to a private party in those 4 mos.

"This one isn't the most fuel efficient."

Terry, my 06 (6MT) is getting 28 MPG when I drive like Grandma.

Also, was told by an independent installer (who does all of Knauz BMW's work - Lake Forest IL) last weekend that most of his customers who get the clear bra are somewhat disappointed in appearance and value. He advised putting the $500 towards an occasional repainting instead.

Terry's problem is that he has an S54 motor in his. It's that good news/bad news thing.

I recently studied the whole clear bra thing and decided against it. Found too many negative comments. Yet, like most things, it is a plus/minus situation. C/Bs have some of each.

Damn! Nice miles! Another low miles ZHP emerges from someones garage.

Knauz ......I used to order parts for my '72 2002 from them back in the late 70's. Back then they were known as Knauz Continental Autos.
