KW V1 Coilovers & Cusco Strut Bar build and Review Thread - BMW 330i ZHP

    And so the install begins......

Packaging is amazing. Very well thought out. Directions.....are useless.....but that's normal.

Side by side comparison of FK Silverline X and KW V1's. I found it interesting that the coil setups are exactly opposite to one another. Other noted differences. Front spring perches (adjustment rings) are metal on the FK's and consist of 2 rings that lock together, while the KW's are a composite material....and fastened in place with a set screw.

Endlinks are included. Endlinks that are included are Beast. Made in Germany. Back side hold nut is very easy to get to which is very nice.

    New

    Old

    Fronts are done.

Fronts took me 2 hours 45 minutes...taking my time and training Walker as I went.

Cusco strut bar was a simple install. Very elegant and sporty in design. Adds a splash of bling under the hood to go with AFE intake.

Moving to rears tomorrow. Wiped out.

Just a suggestion but, you'll probably want to start out with the fronts all the way at the lowest setting.

I'm sitting here with a beer, ready to watch and no link. And that is what I do best, drink beer and watch other people work.
