fuel filter / pressure regulator: what brand was your factory original?

I replaced mine a few months ago with the Mahle version and one thing kind of surprised me. The OE filter (or what I assumed was OE @ 64k miles) was labeled "Kayser," which is an OEM supplier but one would think it would have had a BMW label or stamp on it.

To those who have replaced this: do you recall the brand of the filter you removed?

It's a moot point now but I have been curious about this ever since, mainly in the sense of wondering if I unnecessarily replaced the replacement. Reminds me I really need to go beg & plead with a dealer service adviser for my ZHP's service records from its warranty era.

FWIW, mine is a June '03 MFG date.

Will be doing mine in the next few weeks. I'll post up when I take the old one off and see what it is.
