Unicorn questions: BMW Performance exhaust, not the same as BMW 330 ZHP

Looks like they are having a nice sale on the reat section.

It would be nice to get a tad more exhaust note out of this car. The interior sound is amazing at the lower range for me. I think this would help out the upper a tad without being to loud. Plus get a couple hp more??!!

Nice exhaust, but $500 still seems high for a rear section imo.

It may sound ever so slightly different; someone on E46fanatics who had a zhp said he couldn't tell much of a difference when he bought the performance piece. Don't count on any hp.

I had a full TSE3 and it was very un-zhp like; could not have been any less subtle. Not Mafia like in any way.

Putting a TSE3 on a zhp is like putting Soulja Boy in the mob.

Really? I was looking into getting this, but couldn't find sufficient in car videos of it. I wanted to find a video with a car that didn't have any mods other than this exhaust so I could get the most realistic sound of it, but they all had things like resonator deletes and crap like that which means that sound won't be the sound I get in MY car.

Do you say this in a good or bad way? Exhaust worth getting?

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Yeah, I think I decided this would be as much as I would go for a DD exhaust on the Zhp.

I also couldn't find data regarding the weight. Does it weigh less than the stock system?

Highline Tuning makes an affordable catback for our cars.

Still my favorite is headers with the Borla catback. Pretty loud though...

Bad way. It is an exhaust very much suited to the E46fanatics crowd, if you catch my drift. It sounded nice in the videos, and incredible outside the car (although very loud). It did attract attention, and for the first 30 seconds of any cold startup it is very loud. Inside the car it is more monotonous, it's boring, and it is always loud. It would be very loud before 4k RPM, then seam to die off near the top. It never did drone, but the exhaust was so annoying to me that it wasn't any better for it.

The Highline full catback is supposed to drone badly in the 2700RPM range IIRC.

How about the Magnaflow catback for our cars. Just a hint louder; one guy has it on his zhp. Saves a decent amount of weight as well- and doesn't cost too much.

$665 shipped from an earlier E46fanatics group buy if you follow these instructions:
