    Question Need a Spare Tire

When I bought my ZHP 2 months ago the spare was missing. I've been meaning to get one but was wondering where I should look?

I'm sure I can get one from the dealership but it's probably a rip off. Besides a local salvage yard do you guys have any other recommendations? Also, I think our spare space in the trunk is pretty small, you can't fit a full size tire in there right?

You can definitely fit a front back there (18x8). Not sure about a rear. The person who tried it had an 8" wheel back there.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

What size is the stock spare that comes with the car? Is it a donut? My trusty E30 has a full-size.

Also, wouldn't running a front tire on the back of the ZHP affect and possibly harm the differential?

I don't know about harming the diff. I don't think so.
But with tire sizes not matching would that make a difference?
Come to think of it, probably not. The spare that came with the car
is a "one size fits all" kind of thing.
I guess you are ok in a pinch until you get the tires back to normal on all four corners.
    Regards, Walt.

A donut comes on our car. An 18x8 will fit. Running front on rear won't hurt diff.

I use the 17" BMW steel wheel with a 225x45x17.

It fits flush in the trunk without having to change the cover and is the same size tire as my snows. Plus its like $100 for the wheel and I grabbed a cheap used tire for it.
