Wanting to buy (or even consider renting) a base/roof rack system. Renting is an option because I will only need it for about a week or so. And only if you're o.k. with it and you're local.

I am heading up to Mendocino and was looking forward to the drive, but we're going camping and we need the space of our 4-Runner. Hoping to be able to still drive up there in the BMW.
