    BlackNTan's Makeover

You folks can probably tell I am not a gearhead, and I promise I will consider performance mods in the future. I have no doubt I will be egged on and cajoled by my fellow mafiosi. I'm more than willing to hear recommendations for performance upgrades.

Nevertheless, I do want to make my ZHP CIC my own. So if I'm going to do black, then I'm going black. I want to thank the following for inspiration: lilcdkey, Jersey Graphite, and Zaid because they have shown that what I wanted to do to my car (before I came to the forum) actually looks awesome.

My plan is to take pics of before and after and I'll post em. When I came home today, the following items were on the porch:

    Graphite matte 330CI lettering
    Jet black license plate frames
    Jet black and shadow grilles
Jet black rear trunk "lip" spoiler
    Shadow front bumper reflectors
    Black roundel stickers

    (2nd key for my car)

I'm really debating the roundel stickers and lettering so please give me your opinions.

    Thanks everyone!

I would go with the stickers, definitely. With all of the Roundels matching, it would look sweet. The shadow line badging will probably look good as well. Since you have to remove the old badges to put the new ones on, try the debadged thing for a few days. See how that suits you. All in all, the look update will be a win.

wow should turn out good!! Can't wait for pics :D

for the roundel stickers I say you should leave them stock, as I think they are something that should stay the traditional blue and white.

I like your list. Definitely post all your pics as I've certainly considered similar mods. I've bought a few things but haven't put them on my car yet. Can't wait to see yours! Jet Black FTW!

Parts look great and the plans sound good! Just curious about the roundels, are you going to black them completely out or do black & white?

I like the Graphite matte lettering, IMO, it's going to give the car the de-badged look and still retain it's identity. I might have considered "ZHP" instead though.

I'd do the lettering, but skip on the roundel stickers. Keep some contrast, and the original marque obviously

Where did you get the matte black lettering?

    Appreciate the shout out.

    I like your plan.

As you can tell, I'm not a big subscriber to the Bavarian-Blue-is-Sacred philosophy.

I say go with the roundel stickers and make her your own.
