    Question Calibrating Exterior temp?

My exterior temperature readout is accurate sometimes, but randomly it will show the outside air as 10-20 degrees cooler than what it really is. Does anyone know if there is a way to reset or calibrate the display? Thanks

Not sure if there is a calibration method. I would imagine it's either a dirty connection or just a failing sensor. They're pretty cheap though and easy to replace.

+1. It's under the driver side front wheel well.

I had mine do that once. It was a very humid morning with a lot of dew and even though it was clearly above 50 degrees, all of a sudden the freezing point (37 F) alarm kicked on.

I wonder if humidity had something to do with it and temporarily tweaked the sensor.

You can always look up local calibration shops, but it's probably cheaper to replace the sensor than go through a cal and then find out you need to replace it.
