MKIV w/HK sound audio

I was wondering if all I needed to tap into the audio was the Metra harness:



Or do I need something like this in conjunction... PAC SOEM-4:


I plan on using the audio from the IPhone and the HK speakers and amp.

You'll need the PAC adapter. It knocks the output of an aftermarket unit down to a signal so that the factory amp can use it. Without it, you get no sound.

I am not going from an aftermarket unit. I want to go from iphone audio out to HK.
