caseywithers.com Featured Artist of September: Aimee Albino

Selected for her creative eye, impeccable composition, and ability to make the simplest of objects look stunning, Aimee Albino has been a long time favorite of C. Withers Media with an in depth body of work and she certainly deserves the recognition.

I love photography and the creativity that goes with it. I feel that it takes so much more than pressing a button to produce a beautiful photograph. When I photograph, I’m drawn to lines, contrasts, and structure within the frame. I also like to photograph the everyday mundane and ordinary objects/ scenes and transform them into beauty that can be appreciated. I feel that we all are so caught up in our busy lifestyles that we fail to realize the small stuff. Through my photographs, I hope to leave somewhat of an impact on how you view your surroundings and help you realize that art & beauty surrounds you everyday. Not only can this pertain to photography & art, but it can be applied to life in general. Only by being open to different perspectives than what we are accustomed to, can we gain new appreciation for the simple things in life. It’s just a matter of taking the time to appreciate the little things that we so often fail to take notice of.

I shoot with my Nikon D60 & I currently reside in San Diego, CA.
    -Aimee Albino

Casey, I am taking it that you will feature a photographer each month (since you put September in the thread title)? Good idea.
