E46 sedan hood (face lift)

Has anyone had to replace the hood of E46? I'd like to know how bad it'll set me back to get a new hood and spray for the E46 sedan. I saw D&H had a site that would spray for you, but I'm weary of using something that is so cheap. http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=827679

Is there something wrong with your hood now? Otherwise, I'd say to just sand it and fix it up and give it to someone to paint

I was interested in hakattacks silver gray ZHP (color I want, price is good, no crazy mods, not MT) ,but it has the modded hood. I'm not a fan of the m3 modded hood with vents. Call me crazy.
I was trying to do research to see how much it'd cost. Still wish it was a MT.

I think you can get a cf regular (non GTR) hood. Prob not cheap but very nice
