Unhappy WTB: 1 Style 135 Wheel (front, 18x8) BMW 330 ZHP

    Hello fellow mafioso,

I'm missing a spare. And I let my girlfriend drive my car, which means I've now got some bad curb rash on the right front. These two problems, seems to me, have one (hopefully inexpensive) solution: a single Style 135 18x8 in good condition with a mostly used-up tire on it. I swap the rubber, put the disfigured wheel in the trunk, and all's well in ZHPville.

So, 1st question: I can do that, right? The spare well is big enough? I bought the car with the spare missing, so I don't really know what's supposed to be in there.
And, 2nd question: Anyone have a wheel and a 10-20% tread tire to sell?

I know it's a longshot, but I figured you guys are the ones to ask.

    Thanks,
    Dave

In your situation, I would probably buy a style 135 rep for your spare.....and get your oem style 135 rim refinished.

I'll keep my eyes open for you though.

Stragglers are found on eBay a lot if you routinely check, only thing I'd double check is authenticity and reviews of seller.
It's finally time to settle down,

I need two fronts too (to put on the rear). I decided to go with a square setup and the easiest/most cost effective way to do that is 18x8 all the way around. I'll check ebay. Been checking e46f.c, but no luck yet, but there are some out there so you may want to look into it. And Dane, great idea on the modbargins... I'm thinking I might do that. Any thing you hear about these reps that says we shouldn't use them as our daily wheels? Worst case, I'd still have my 2 rears that are OEM if I needed to switch back.

Ok. So the consensus seems to be that this is harder than I thought. Style 135s seem to comprise like 1% of the e46 wheels out there right now. ("No, damnit, I don't want to buy your style 44s.") I'll keep my ear to the ground, and if I find more than one in good shape, I'll put the word out.
In the meantime, I've found a supacheap e90 18x8 to toss in the trunk so I don't find myself walkin.
    Thanks,
    D.
