BMW steering wheel vol up/down sensitivity.

I really should go out and get the manual from the glove box, but it's 32*F outside

Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the volume up/down buttons on the steering wheel?
I like it to be a bit less sensitive (I normally have the speed volume thing on, but sometimes when I manually adjust, i feel like the jump in volume is a bit much).

    Thanks

I only know how to turn down the sensitivity of the speed volume thing. There was nothing in my manual about the steering wheel control sensitivity.

I don't think there is-- I've had the same issue in the past. Sometimes when I want just a smidge more or less volume, I have to go for the knob on the unit.

I have noticed this as well. I think the steering wheel control adjusts double what the knob on the stereo does, or at least that is what I have seen

So when you go up or down one click on the steering wheel, it is like you are rotating the knob 2 cllicks on the stereo

There is no way of adjusting it

I did a cooling system for another E46 in <20 degree weather, also oil change, oil level sensor, front struts and pulled the whole interior this week; pulled an all nighter doing it. Deal with it!

This is what my ears tell me; once on the wheel equals two on the radio.
