Anyone ever experiment with wrapping the steering wheel in leather instead?

i'm in it for the long haul as well, if I can't find a perf leather for cheap i'm definitely gonna hit coby up. I also need to replace the bottom half of my steering wheel because it's all chewed up from the prev owner.

They get big bucks for the Perf. leather ones these days. All of their wheels have gone up quite a bit in price in the last year or so. Tischer lists it in their "specials" for $1185! If you search the part number on their website though it shows the price at $719 ??? Not sure I understand what's going on there.

The one listed here for $505 used to be $370 not all that long ago.....

lol......no, I don't think I would say I am. I can definitely see your point though. Does it cause any problems on leather wheels?

nah, leather is infinitely easier to clean than alcantara

That's true. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of damaging the leather from the constant moisture.

honestly i didn't have much sweating problems in my old infiniti g35 (leather wheel) but the alcantara doesn't seem to cooperate with me lol
