Unfortunately, my mirrors had the ribbon (the M3 mirrors had the pins), so there was some serious work that had to be done to make them fully functional. But I had a guy, Shane, owner of Euro Auto Spot, who did it for me. The guy is a magician with these cars. My mirrors work perfectly. Fully functional. If I had to pay for that work, sheesh, I have no idea how much someone would have charged me to do it. Indeed, I likely would have passed and just left them in a nonworking mode.

I think the M3 mirrors are great on the coupe, but I like the stock mirrors on the sedan. I don't think the sedan/coupe ones are exactly the same shape.

OP: Make sure whoever paints the cap does it properly; it seems they mess up the mirror color match a lot.

By the way OP, you need to stop doing drugs. They're bad for your health!

No one is going to be the resident grammar person. I hate that.

Fact is, I was an editor, reporter, and author in my previous life (for 15 years). If anyone is qualified to be the grammar police, I am likely that person.

However, I don't want any of that crap here. Until someone can write without a single error -- of any kind -- there won't be any one on this site who is qualified to be the grammar police officer.

All I ask is that people do their best to construct basic sentences, free of obvious spelling errors. If every word is misspelled, then that simply tells me that the person doesn't care about the membership. I don't see that happening.

Kudos, I don't want you to think this message was directed specifically toward you. It wasn't.

Every site has its resident grammar Nazi. I just want to make sure that everyone understands my position on it.

In the meantime, feel free to watch this video by Stephen Fry:
