Getting ready for Bimmerworld race school this weekend. Fluids changed throughout, finished the brake ducts off (used the Bimmerworld backing plates), and installed a new oem 3 row MZ3 radiator & 16" Spal fan. Looking forward to the weekend

The weekend at Summit Point was awesome! Big thanks to Bimmerworld & the BmwCca for a great event. Successfully completed the BW Race School. There were @30 students @15 instructors, which lead to a large field of cars on track. It was a great experience. Pics courtesy of Bimmerworld.

Hey guys. The original budget with the price of the car was 6k definitely a "budget track car". The thread started in 2011, and I was within or close to the budget until last year. The car itself was 2k and most items I had purchased used (seats rollbar etc.) I work as a tech at a performance shop as well so all the labor was free.
Last year I spent my total budget alone with unplanned engine failure, full cage, better/safer seats, etc. The build will never be done as there are always changes, repairs, and upgrades to be made. Going into its 7th year as a track toy I still love this e36 and it performs awesome at what it was built for. It will probably become a full road race car to run in BmwCca club racing within the next year or two. it will be fun!
