    Thanks everyone. I'd do CF fabric (because I love it!), but nothing on my interior is CF so it doesn't make sense. The only thing I don't like about making my own boots is I can't do the parallel stitching down the seam (like OE) because of the sewing machine I have.

    I'll be making another boot soon, in a "sand" colored alacantara, to match my seats and old boot. I'll figure which I like best (black leather or sand alacantara) and then make a ebrake boot in that fabric.
