SRS Peake Reset tool for loaning.

If anyone is interested I just ponied up the cash for the SRS airbag reset tool and diagnostic cable ($199.90 from Bavauto). I am using this little puppy the first couple of weeks in October to fix my own sh!t, then will be available for others to borrow on a 1 week basis (honor system). This has been cleared with Marcus.

The only requirements I have are:

***You must have 100 posts, or make me feel comfortable I will be getting my tool back. Additionally, do not use tool, then refuse delivery, to negate the shipping fee. The last time this was done, it took me 5 months to get tool back!!!***

***Your car must be 2001-2007 (that's the reset tool I bought)***

    1) PM me. This is when I will give you my address.

    2) Then Paypal me $12.00. I will give you my Paypal information when you make contact with me.

    3) Respect the gear and take care of it while using it. I waited 2 years to purchase and finally made the leap.

    4) Ship it back to me as soon as you're done with it. I figure if you can't figure it out in a week.....oh well.

F/S: I have a good Occupancy seat sensor if someone wants to give it a try!!!!!

I could've driven my car forever like this, but in the interest of helping others I purchased (would've rather bought pulleys, or some other crap for my car) but think of you all as my brothers.....yeah.....kumbaya and all that.

So, if anyone is interested PM me and I will see the availability.

I recieved the tool back yesterday......

Data as follows.....(This is a data sheet I throw in the kit everytime I loan it out)

Models and codes are pretty widespread. Not a whole lot of trend analysis...but it does look like table 04 is used frequently, and code 60 for drivers seat belt switch (makes sense sort of). Additionally only looks like one zhp....

Have a great night, and know you won't have to pony up ~$200.00 to fix your car.

Dane, not sure if you meant to do it or not, but your address is on that paper. I mention it because your first instruction is for someone to PM you so you can give them your mailing address.

I believe it's an R5. The only reason I ask is because he said he used it on his '02, so I was wondering if new s/w or codes or something came out since then. Not sure how old it is. John

    UPDATE
Seller said "R5 fcx-3. Ive scanned an 04 m3 so I'd say you'll be fine". Thoughts?
