    Today I have owned my 03 ZHP for 5 years

    Check that, now 6 years, Ref. post #14

    To be a little more exact, 60 months, or 260 weeks, or 1,825 days, that is 43,800 hours, or we could say 2,620,800 minutes. As for the exact second at around 2:00 this afternoon that would have been 158,000,000.

    In that time I have driven the car 75,440 miles and that averages out to 41 miles per day or 15,088 miles per year. That has cost me $8,908.64 in gas alone for the 226 fill-ups. The average mileage over this great journey was 25.8094 mpg. The maximum mileage was 29.59733 mpg and the minimum was 17.48944 mpg. Two words can explain that bad mileage, “Nelson Ledges”. The most I ever paid for a tank of gas was $62.65 and the least was $13.80. Another way to look at it would be a max of $4.38 per gallon and a min of $1.76 per gallon. Tweaking that a little closer, we had a range from $0.06 per mile to $0.22 per mile.

    As for the maintenance history;

    Mileage day of purchase Saturday 12/23/2006, was 28,090.

    The best Christmas present ever. The car has been great and given me many fantastic memories and hopefully many more to come. ZHP, if you know it and own it, you know what I mean.

    Happy holidays everyone.

    Some history in picture form.

    Congratulations, you beat me by 2 years. I think we have an original owner (Scorpius) on here @ 7 years IIRC. Seems like it might be a thing with people who drive Imola not wanting to get rid of their car

    Still a looker! Love it! I drive Imola and... I'm not interested in getting rid of it =>

    I'd have had about 10 oil changes in that many miles.

    Would be curious to see how your motor is doing with intervals that long- especially if you've been auto-xing as well.

    About the oil!

    The car was purchased CPO and came with maintenance covered till 50K that covers oil changes at BMW recommended intervals of 15K. If you want it changed more often you can at the regular cost of $89.00 per change. This is the reason I run that long and only have the oil changed with BMW certified oil at the dealer. One other note, per dealer recommendation Shell V Power is the main fuel I use and only if not available I will run either Marathon or Sunoco for no more than one tank. It's been that way since 45K miles.
