Bump! Something of note, the F-Connector found on the upper intake boot provides vacuum for the Brake Booster and the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) not the Fuel Pump.

Related, I broke my old upper intake connecter and could not get the Brake Booster line back on securely, so it's crudely assembled with Duct Tape and praying I don't have any lean codes in the coming days. I would like to see some pictures of the ZHP DME/Brake booster area. Need to figure out what part to order to replace the broken hose. Do not want to spend $80 at the dealer for a whole new "Sucking Jet Pump" unit especially if it won't fit the car. Thoughts and tips appreciated!

you're lucky that working on the 320 means I'm still awake. Here you go:

I couldn't really get to where that hose from the F connects with the camera

Yeah that was not what I expected. On my 328, the Suction Jet Pump is right next to the brake booster and the line from the top of the F-connector Runs directly into the Booster area.

Thank you for taking the pictures, JP!

    Bump.

I would like to add the under engine splash shield to the original post.

We found it here once, but I can't find the P/N to the cheaper piece.

Using my VIN, I find the one listed below (Which consequently doesn't even look correct) which is some $285!!!

Like I said....I know we've been through this before.

I seem to remember using a different P/N which yielded one that was around $80?

Which? The flat one? That is what actually comes up from my VIN.

Isn't the expensive one the big ass metal one that is under the rear main seal, behind steering components, and is attached with 8 (?) 16mm bolts, while the cheap one is the plastic shield that protects under the pullies, etc more towards the front, in front of steering components ?
