Oh yes...those non-car people harassing you about your Bimmer, and they are rolling in their Escalade, Range Rover, or "Lincoln" pickup. Yea, forget that argument. A good left hook may just begin to knock some sense into them.

Left hooks draw too much scrutiny.

Quick palm strike right to the solar plexus.

Works every time... um, err, so I've heard.

My avatar is plate. Always awesome when I look in the rear-view at a stop light and see the car behind me taking a picture.

YES! My other car is an R53, just like yours. It looks like you're in NJ, too. Where?

What brings another MINI enthusiast to these parts? No doubt you'll find this playground a bit more comfortable than some of the MINI internet haunts.

Im in bergen county. I came here because my father is looking for a new car, particularly a ZHP. Trust me, when/if he gets a ZHP, Ill be borrowing it more than hed like! I'm also just a big BMW fan, more-so than a MINI fan. I really just like the R53, all of the newer mini's dont do it for me as much. But I LOVE my R53.

Any work done to yours? I see it has the JCW bumper is it a JCW? Mines relatively stock

edit: oh and im on NAM (north american motoring)

Actually the other day I saw an imola red ZHP sedan in fair lawn my home town. I also saw one in teaneck or bergenfield too.

It's got the dinan s1, no jcw. It's the stock "aero" kit that was part of the jcw kit but also an option on base S models. I've also got coilovers and an all around track-oriented suspension setup.

I feel exactly as you do regarding r53 vs everything else. The new mini roadster looks amazing, but I specced one out and it came to close to 40k!!!!! Screw that!
