    "Code not found"; battery is white BMW OE 47th week of 2009, and as far as I can establish the eye shows the right color. So I'm waiting for the next one...

    Did you maybe start the car briefly (a minute or two) the last time it was started, before it acted up? These cars can foul the plugs if you start them and don't let it warm up long enough before shutting them off again.

    It's happened to me a few times as well as others. Here was a thread a while back where it happened.....

    I got there after a 4-hour drive; the next day didn't start the car and it was the morning after that when this all happened. The temperature dropped to 11 degrees in the meantime. I am reasonably confident about the battery but as for the gas... who knows.
    Haven't had any hiccup since. I am buying the EcoRoute HD though...
