I have a custom dual out set up, need help on battery compartment.

Hello, I had my mtech rear diffuser notched to create a dual out set up. It looks great but I am having one issue to to overcome to get the dual tips I want to fit. Right now I have a single squared tip on each side. It seems the battery housing is preventing me from tucking the tips up. I finally got the square tips flush but they still sit low from the side. Anyone have any ideas about altering the battery housing so i have more room to tuck the tips for a clean stock look. I thought about changing the diffuser, I found one that would work but the vendor, who I wont mention, will not sell me the diffuser without me buying the muffler and exhaust system also. I explained that i already have my pipes ran and only need the diffuser but still turned down. So I need to adjust my battery housing. I know this was long winded , so thanks for your patience!
