    Black matte grills/Meeting with Elric - Mafia member!

    Today I and my wife had the great pleasure of meeting a local ZHPMafia member Elric (Jeff) who had kindly offered me to change out the grills, which I've been scared to do
    He has a great looking IR ZHP sedan, which I also got to see...

    Can't believe what a difference black grills make - I am really happy with the look...

    Here are some iphone pics I quickly took of the 'event'.
    I will take some better pics with the nikon later when there's more light and when the car is a bit more clean...it's really dirty right now...These pics really don't do these 2 ZHPs justice, but better some pics than none...

    (the iphone makes the grills look like black holes which is not right at all, with a better camera you can see the slats which really makes it nice looking)

    i don't care what bmw you own; they all should have black grills! my buddy just got a 2009 328i and he's trying to tell me he likes the chrome. i always tell him- Nobody likes the chrome.

    The black grills look great. AW and IR are my two favorite colors on the ZHP and they look great next to each other!

    They do look good. I switched to gloss black grills, but I like the chrome too... then again, someone once called me "chromy".
