    17" ZHP replica wheels

After years of blowing out 18" tires all summer long (and not doing so on 17" snows during the winter), I've finally decided that I'm done with 18" wheels on my e46. Whatever performance gains I have with the 135s is completely outweighed by the 4 blown tires each summer driving on crappy Boston roads.

I want a square 17x8 setup all around on my ZHP...

I also want my ZHP to look like a ZHP...

So I need a 17x8" ZHP replica wheel.

    I found this:
    http://www.eurowheelspro.com/shop/pr...roducts_id=330

Which I guess is exactly what I need, but the website doesn't respond to emails, phone calls etc...

Any other leads would be greatly appreciated.

** Also, I'm only considering 17" #135 replicas, so please no "buy M68" type responses.

I hear you on that... Worcester roads are decent except for a few ares where there are those hidden pot holes.

I love the ride in my 16" snows lol...

Last fall I emailed the eurowheelspro about the 17" 135 reps for snows. They did communicate back, but to let me know that their supplier did not have the 17's available. I've asked to be notified when they do (have heard nothing). I settled on some style 73's which fit my purpose well and look nicer than the sport edition A7's they replaced.

I just called them again, and actually got someone on the phone who told me that they would be in at the end of March...

I honestly wouldn't mind some 17" 135 reps if they weighed less than 22lb for 17x9, better be good quality because I would track them

+1. Weight is a very big factor. Track or otherwise.

I did talk to Alan at Modbargains a bit ago about making a rotary forged ZHP replica in 18", similar to the Sportline CS 16 CSL replicas in 18". Their construction similar to that of the Apex ARC-8 18", which should make them around as strong as our stock wheels- which are actually quite strong.

The 18x8.5" CSL rep weighs 19.8lbs, the 18x9.5" version weighs 19.6lbs. I think the zhp replicas would be similar in weight- maybe a bit heavier. We'd need 20-30 orders, which is steep, but this seems like it could be a great opportunity. Any interest? Keep the stock look and drop 7-8lbs per wheel!

Sorry if it's off topic, seems it's kind of on topic for this thread...

Interest thread is better suited for its own thread. IMHO. You can leave here....but feel free to post a separate, if you wish.
