I'll go look around while I test obd2 apps. Who knows, someone may have hooked it up and left the wire somewhere hidden and I just never noticed. I'll know for sure on Monday when I go to install the cable.

That's odd. Do you have a CD changer?

Nope, no cd changer. I did go out there today and looked all over for a wire, I see nothing. As far as I know my radio has nothing extra plugged into it.

I could have sworn I saw aux come up cycling through modes, but today when I tried it, it was gone. Maybe I just imagined thats where it was, weird.

I think I'll install this cable tomorrow. Before I do, when I disconnect the battery - this should prevent the horn from working, correct? I figured I'd put the steering wheel emblem on with the horn disabled so I can press on it without annoying the entire complex.

Did some searching. Old p/ns aren't coming up on Tischer or via realoem.com search.

    Part Number: 82 11 0 149 389

Here's a DIY that references the same number.

Bavarian Autosport has the kit up on their website (checked now) for $38.95. Search using the above mentioned p/n and your car.
