    Tire tread rotation help(!)

    Team,
I have a stupid and quick question. I'm putting on my summer tires today (hooray!) but I just noticed that there is no rotation arrow on the sidewall of my HTR ZIIIs (so I don't know which side to mount the tire on).

In the tire pictured, assuming the car was moving forward, should THIS rim be on the driver's side or the passenger's side?

    Thanks in advance.

    Passenger side... I think.

Doesn't it just mean they're NOT directional tires? They can be mounted either way.

Dane's right on the money here - those are an asymmetric tire, but not a directional tire. This means they can only be mounted on the rim one way ("outside" facing outside), but they are designed to work on either side of the vehicle.

see if the tire says "inside" or "outside" on one side. (It's only confusing if both sides say "outside.")
