    Firestone/Bridgestone tires 35% off

    ZHP Mafia,

Firestone shops are having their annual big "Friends and Family" sale. Basically purchase tires at their cost plus $1.00.

Starts on the Jan. 14th through the end of the month.

Use NoScript? I had to enable it and refresh, then it came thru.

Linh, it shows as 15% off. Not 35%. Were you trying to point to something different?

Actually thats it. Purchase Bridgestone/Firestone tires at store cost plus a buck. Basically 30-40% off a tire. Of course any other service will be 15% off.

Planning to get the RE050 PP.

Thanks for the edit, hopefully someone could use some new tires =)

OK. Cool. I see. So the margin is about 35%.

    Thanks, Linh.

Ok. Did a little research on the possible type of Bridgestone tires available for the ZHP stock 18's

    RE11 $750/set AA180
    RE040 PP $705/set AA280
    RE760 $490/set AA340

Prices are from their website: with 35% off, and 7% tax included.

If anyone have any of these tires, please chime in with your experiences with them.

    TIRERACK.com - Revolutionizing Tire Buying
RE040s on mine right now. I read the reviews on TireRack when I bought the car and it seems that they get some poor reviews compared to other tires in the UHPS category. I, however, have nothing bad to say about them yet. Dry and wet grip is good, steering response feels good. Pushed them fairly hard and didn't break them loose as of yet, but I've also backed off them a bit since it's been so cold.

I'll wait for the warmer weather to really get on them and see how they stack up.

Seems that the RE760 gets much better feedback on TireRack, fwiw.
