Hey everyone, tried to get back on the forum grind. I recently took my car to a mechanic and he said one of my vacuum hoses had a leak and was wearing thin. He never specified which unfortunately and I didn't pick up the car so I have no idea which one it is. Is there an at home method I could use to check? I don't know anyone with a smoke machine nor can I afford one.

Spray starter fluid in suspect areas and listen for idle change.

Can't go wrong with good old soapy water. You'll see it bubbling around any leaks while the car is idling, if visible.

Also, simply a garden/rubber hose with one end on your ear and the other searching for leaks works pretty well. You'll know when you found it!
