Thumbs up OEM MKIV Navigation System Demo

This was also posted on fanatics a while back... Copying it here so we have a local archive.

A few people have emailed from time to time asking what various screens etc will look like on the OEM Nav unit. This thread is just a sampling of pictures of the various screens of the system.

My car has the following components to it:

    - MKIV DVD Nav system updated to latest software 4-1/00 (v32 CD)

    - OEM Bluetooth. I've had both TCU's and ULF's. The ULF's are nice because they have voice recognition. The newer TCU's don't have VR (well they have VR, it is just for the phone book though, not the Nav system), but they do not require a pairing button and seem to sync up a bit quicker when turning on the car

    - OEM Aux. Why not? Occasionally I'll listen to a podcast on my BlackBerry... Normally not needed since i have the:

    - Intravee II iPod kit. See details here: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showt...rs-with-Nav%29

    - OEM Sirius. see details here about the different part numbers and models: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=912513

    - Reverse camera. I use the NavTV module. see more on the install here: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=773820

Great stuff. Has me tempted to do some tweaking.
