    Lightbulb My NE American trip...

Some of you know I went on a trip to the NE of the USA. I stayed at one of your houses and met two mafia members who were super welcoming and great. This trip was about a bit of work while meeting new people, seeing new things, learning new things, and gaining more appreciation to what I have today. I took pics so you can see what I saw through my eyes...I did colour correct in Lightroom to what I remembered seeing. So here are some of my pics!

On my way to Philly I got stuck in Newark so United offered to put my on a train to Philly which was much more pleasurable than the plane...

Not sure which station this was but there is where the train ended me up.

I went downtown to Philly to snap a few pics and explore...

I wanted to eat here but it was just too busy and no parking!!

So I went here as per member's advice:

You'll have to excuse Google seems to compress the pictures and make them a bit pixelated in the shading...

 The Comcast Tower:

 Someone homeless:

The next leg of my trip was to goto the Washington DC/Maryland/Baltimore area to visit friends and to see something I never paid attention to in American History...Gettysburg. This is a must for anyone to learn what real sacrifice is and to have appreciation to the freedom you have today.

First my new buddy from my friend's house that I stayed at:

 He really loves bunnies!

 Gettysburg miniatures

Learning the historic events of Gettysburg:

 The basic history of Gettysburg:

 In the museum

Cannons could blow through 8 solid pieces of wood

 The Gettysburg address:

Out on the Auto Tour to learn about the locations where significant history happened:

An existing building that escaped with just a cannon ball hole through the wall.

My next leg of the trip was NYC. I went to see family and to see one thing.... The World Trade Memorial. I was there 6 months before 9-11 watching the sunset over New York city from the top of the south tower. Then I was there 6 months after 9-11 to experience NYC in a whole other manner. Too many years have passed but I have made it back again.

Gotta love busy Canal Street...the district of getting a deal and learning the art of walking away for them to lower prices...

Can you do your own oil change once it's hoisted up??

 Love the NYC architecture:

 Keep it clean boys!

An amazing and inspiring day once again....

Going back to Philly to catch my flight home:

My scapegoat to get to Philly much faster!

 Weeeeeeeee!

And that was my trip. Every picture was taken from a m4/3 camera using the stock zoom lens and my F1.7 during some low light shots. But mostly the zoom is the most versatile when you're in such a busy city as NYC to capture the varying focal points of people's lives. I hope that this wasn't too much a bore. :P

All 374 pictures of my trip are here if you want to see them:
