    Air Compressor Recommendations?

Time for me to get an air compressor and an air gun. As for the compressor, I'd like something around $100 +/- $30 based on what I've seen. This will just be for light, occasional use. I have a local harbor freight so I can pick it up.

Any suggestions? Oilless or non-oilless? Any minimum HP/gallon size? Mostly it will be used for removing lug nuts, etc., and I'll use it once for the Besian kit.

    How 'bout the guns?

I highly recommend an electric impact gun. Got one for under 100 from Harbor freight, that thing has taken off everything I have thrown at it (and I used to own a 91 240sx, if you want to talk about seized bolts...)

And if you can spend more $$, get the most compact one you can find.

    This.

Most of the cheaper (read affordable) compressors aren't strong enough to run impact tools.

I just picked up an electric from Harbor Freight for $49.

I wish this was sent with a Galaxy S3

But...a nice lil compressor is handy for airing up tires, and I also use mine to blow dust off the car and out of the engine bay. Good tool to have in the shop for sure. You just need one capable of 100 psi.
