Yes, it is definitely a good way to go. As for the rates, you have to go all the way through though. I looked today, and you pay about $200 for the CAR each way, and about the same price for you to ride along with it, so the rates I was getting were about $400/each way total. I think the gas bill for me for the weekend tallied about $300, so, not sure if that extra cost is worth it for me yet. For $800 that it'd cost me for AutoTrain, I could have a lot of fun there, and still spend less...
I don't know... We'll see...
