And yes, install is very simple. The worst are the ones in the C-pillar and the one in the passenger side footwell/glovebox.

iP4S + TT2Install is straight forward. I had LED Interior lights on my E46, like Alex said the C Pillars can be kinda PITA.
I have some in my 128i now as well.

For some reason these bulbs will not work in the "switched" sockets in the c-pillar location. I tried multiple bulbs and none of them work there. They do work in the other c-pillar locations. The OEM bulbs work in both locations. Any ideas?

Did you get the C pillar lights figured out? I noticed they both had to be swapped to LEDs to get either one to function.

Make sure the polarity is right when installing the bulb socket back into the light.
