If you have PA Soft. Try unchecking the "Arming, doors closed- acoustic" option.

    Locking/Unlocking Chime

I do have pasoft and all my alarm boxes are checked, including that one. What does that specific box do and why would it finally allow chirping when locking? Thought that box was to confirm the arming of the doors (acoustically)

Not sure why, but it works for me. If you have PA Soft, give it a try.

I will do it when I get home. Just curious, have you tested your doors? Like with your windows down and car armed reached inside and opened the door?

With the car armed, you can't pull the inside door latch. I have press the central lock button, then pull the latch from inside. At that point, the alarm is activated of course.

William did this on my ZHP already and it's still intermittent.

Ok I just spent some time out at the car.

    1) I unchecked "Arming, doors closed- acoustic", coded the car, and tested it...and I got the chime on lock! So thanks for suggesting that, Trans! I hope it "sticks” and does not become intermittent again. Thinking out loud here, unchecking this box means the car is not checking the doors before giving out the arming beep, right? Could that mean the car was not beeping because one of the doors isn’t arming when we are locking for whatever reason? I plan on testing all four of the doors like you did when I have a chance to take it to a big lot where I won't bother anyone.

    2) This scan marks the SECOND time in a row that when I checked my alarm settings, the "DWE interior sensor" box was unchecked. I know for a fact that I checked it again and again, and for some reason it is coming up unchecked when I scan (scans are about 6 months apart). I checked the box again and coded it in when making the 1) adjustment. Has anyone else come across this? I can test this too when I find a big lot.

Here is what it looks like when I disconnected:

    3) not really alarm related but thought this was funny. The nav had 2 errors but couldn't tell me what they were. Hah.

full scan results if anyone is curious:

Hmm. Can you post a screenshot of pa soft on the alarm page? Maybe something got checked or unchecked by accident or something.
