    Summer Detailing

So since I've been doing a lot of detailing this summer I figured I'd make a thread about it.

This is what I did tonight. "Boss Lady's" SL550. Just did a wash, clay, glaze, wax, quick interior wipe down and wheels and tires. It is garaged 360 days a year so it didn't need much.

Sorry, but for now all I have is some phone pics so they won't be great, plus they are in a garage since I finished at 11:30pm lol. I'll get some outside pics tomorrow.

    Products Used:
    -Chemical Guys Citrus Wash
    -Autoscrub Nanoskin 3" kit
    -Dodo Juice Clay Lube
    -Chemical Guys Creme Glaze
-Dodo Juice Orange Crush Soft Wax
    -303 Aerospace
    -1Z interior cleaner
-Chemical Guys Glass cleaner (love this stuff!)
    -OptiBond Tire Gel
-A paint safe degreaser made locally was used to clean the wheels and door sills.
probably forgetting some stuff but I think that's most of it

The 550s are no joke, they pack a punch.

Before you know it, you'll be packing a rotary doing full correction!

    Looks good.

Yeah my gpa has a s550 and it also kicks when you get on it.

I have my griots buffer but haven't invested the $$ into pads yet. Hopefully soon though. For now, if there's a bad spot or area, I'll just hand polish it.

Just FYI, whenever you're clay barring a car you should be following it up with some sort of polish.

When you clay bar, you're actually marring the paint, and causing damage.
