    finally joined the site

    what's goin on

I've been a huge ZHP proponent for the last 1.5 years or so since I started my search for my new car. I was looking for the best all-around sport sedan (performance mainly with at least "decent" fuel economy i.e. avoided V8's (mainly B6 S4's)) with manual transmission for under $25k (in 2009) regardless of year or manufacturer and well I'm sure you know what I decided on! -- I am still convinced that the ZHP sedan is the best all around MT sedan out there for $25k or less. Other selling points for me was that the ZHP is fairly uncommon and has a lot of the mods I would have done already from the factory.

I bought a CPO silver-grey sedan with black leather, manual, with cold weather and premium packages and about 53k miles in early 2010 from a classified listing on E46F from a guy in NYC. The car came with clears and tint at time of purchase. Since then I've been focused on maintenance (just finished Inspection II) and still deciding if I really want to mod the car too much.

Mods that have been done to the car:
    -tint
    -black kidneys
    -OEM clears
    -angel eyes
    -Dynavin (and reverse camera)
    -Subwoofers and amp

    Upcoming mods:
-BMW Performance rotors and Hawk Performance Ceramic pads
-spacers (thinking 10mm rear 5mm front) for a little bit of a beefier look
    -replacing/retro-fitting burnt ZKW projector bowls
