    OE Battery

Someone here is selling his "brand new" OE battery for $100. Is there a way to find out if they are new? Like a tag or whatever that is not stripped or removed? The pics are kinda small. I don't even know if they are the right ones of the E46s.

At 116K mi on the clock, I think I still have the original batteries. Just trying to avoid surprises.....

Edit: The number on top of the battery is....S: 61 21 6 901 815. Don't know if that is the P/N. Anybody????

I thought I read somewhere that batteries have dates on them like tires? Not sure.

Also just found out through communications, that the red & black plastic seals on the poles are still in place. I am inquiring now on the manufacture date. The seller has also agreed to sell at $80. All I need now to know if they are compatible?????
