3 - has to be a facelift sedan, therefore production of 9/1/02 or later

4 - 2004 production was 6MT only, therefore must be in the VIN range of KM02351 (9/2/02) to KM05224 (8/29/03)

5 - no other cars with option code 767 found built in the 9/02-12/02 range

6 - car is fully optioned out

7 - with that specific car this option leads me to believe it is the car from LA:
    S916A - ENTWICKLUNGSFZG.OHNE KONSERVIERUNG - Development veh. w/out preservation

I'm guessing that means that the underbody protectant coat wasn't painted on?
Fwiw, they were all 6-speeds from March 2003, ZHP or not.

I don't think the car you found was the LA autoshow one. The few pictures out there show it wasnt loaded (no nav, no ZCP, no HIDs, etc)

I wonder if there's some disparity here?? Interesting. I vow from now on to buy a mod for my ZHP every year on 2/11, for her birthday.

terra, if it wasn't that car that was at the auto show was it must have either been a m-sport or a car with a non normal VIN since I couldn't find another ZHP that would have worked

there is no way I'm manually checking every possible VIN, somebody who has searchable access needs to check options. All I can definitely say is by VIN ranges there are about 47,000 possible cars that could have received the option package. One thing about that is the US and Canada share the same VIN range so that number includes all possible M-Sport and ZAM cars.

It was probably used for demo purposes back in the day - all I know is that it can't be the LA one unless they changed the interior and equipment last minute.

Interestingly enough, that particular one has a rain sensor even though ZHPs could not be equipped with the rain sensor officially until MY2004
