tinkered with the brakes some more

    drove it

Up to about 600 miles. On Sunday I decided to finally swap to the '85 fuel rail

1984 on top, 1985 on bottom

    new regulator

making a block off plate for the cold start injector that I no longer need

    ready for install

    on

All this and it's still dieseling... next step is checking the actual fuel pressure

    Fuel pump/accumulator/filter bushings replaced

30+ year old ones, surprisingly still decent although one was about to fall apart

    Rack bushings c/o Eurometric

So... I went to the dyno today.

The aftermarket cat I had installed 3 years ago started blowing chunks on the during the second pull so we stopped. I guess it's time to install the headers and build an exhaust, then go back to the dyno.

115whp and it's still not tuned

It's been a while since I updated this...

    tinkered some more

    Went to autocross

    Got some brakes

    Then I had an accident

    So I took it apart

    And bought a parts car

    Cut out broken shit

    New core support

    Replaced broken fan/water pump/alternator

Hood, fender, and 320is trunk lid painted

    Butyl

    Fender on

Temporarily going back to stock front end

Got my brakes back from the rebuilder

Goodbye parts car... gave it to a friend to use the sheet metal to replace rust on his Schnitzer E21

Just need to figure out what front end I want to use. My buddy has an Alpina spoiler for a late car, I might do that.

Or I might do like this guy and make my own out of metal

Either way, I need to figure something out before the 12/12 autocross. I like my BBS spoiler but I feel like doing something different in front.

Jesus that's a hell of a hit! What's the details on the accident if you don't mind. You were unharmed, obviously. No lingering pain?

    Great job on the rebuild!

Damn, that's a bit of a roller coaster, but you seem to be in high spirits either way. Keep up the work (and the photos you post)!
