Not sure there is a DIY, but if you get your head up in there you'll see what Eli is talking about. If you choose to stick your head in there please be safe . It is a little bolt that sticks out a little that can be shaved off for really aggressive stances.

I'm not sure on the tire sizes used by Eli but 20mm is def doable on stock rims, but I'd assume 225-235 tire size. I'm lowered with 235 tires with 15mm in rear and plenty of room. 12mm in front but wish I was out further now that I'm lowered. I'll try and snap some photos soon when it stops raining.

Just out of curiosity, you guys running such small tires... 225, 235?? Currently I've got my front wheels with 225s on the back just to see what the 8.5" rims would look like up front... I have to say, that small of a tire is ridiculous out back... I break them free at almost every intersection... And Devlin can attest, I'm not that hard of a driver...

You guys run that small just for fitment?? I'll be running 245s once my wheels arrive...

Anyway, back on topic... Not sure I'll need to space, maybe just a touch out back to keep the fitment looking even... We'll see..

I'm running 225 all around because its my winter set. Skinnier tires means more weight on a smaller surface area and that helps with traction in the snow.

trust me I would be running a le mans race with this kind of set up.

Yeah, that makes sense I suppose. Not a lot of snow down here in South Florida.

not a lot of snow up here in Chicago either...

Last winter was incredibly mild and this year is looking the same. Supposed to be 55-62 all weekend, which is a bout +20 deg warmer than normal.

I don't think that question was meant for me, but just as an FYI I'm stock tire sizes right now, but going to go 245s all around for a square setup.

John, if you remove the rear wheel and look in there up and towards the rear bumper you'll see what I'm talking about. Just needs a bit of Dremel work to get it shaved.

There's also bumper clips that should get pulled. I ran my car for several years in all kinds of weather without the clips & the bumper bolts shaved and the rear bumper never sagged or got loose. There's a TON of attachment points on those rear bumpers that honestly, it's just overkill.

Even if I was running a stock ZHP, I'd consider removing them both because if you don't, the clips have a sharp edge that could easily slice a tire under compression and the bolts aren't much better. Like I said, take a look and you'll see what I mean.
