    Question Popping noise

Coming back into the garage for my building, there are two fairly large but not very steep speed bumps. I usually take them very slowly in first gear (under 5mph). The last few times I have gone over them, I hear popping noises coming from what I think is the front of the car. I can kind of feel it through my feet too. It pops once as the front wheels go over, and then sometimes two quick pops as the car gets level again. Strange huh?

Ugh, I hardly drive this car (city life), but it seems to LOVE to spend time at the mechanic. Not again.

Never heard a popping sound. Maybe your springs aren't seated right? Have you tried listening when running over any road bumps? Any noise under quick acceleration or braking?

Shock mounts, maybe the nut that holds the strut to the front shock mount is a little loose causing play in the strut? Popping isn't really the word I would use to describe those sounds but it is possible.
