Please confirm the P/N for Engine Mounts is 22116779970 and the Flex Coupling for Steering is 32301094703.

BMW Genuine Part items. If anything better and not stiff.....Corteco sounds good per reviews.

    Any good on Lemforder?

Would the Transmission Mounts also a requirement to be replaced? Or this is a Preventive Maintenance?

What type of Steering Fluids for the ZHP?

I verified your part numbers for engine mounts and steering coupler are correct. My mechanic recommends Corteco engine mounts as well, I think that’s what he installed on my car.

My ZHP has 152k miles and needs new differential bushings. I have a clunking noise, I think that’s the reason.

Not sure about your other questions, let’s see if some else can chime in.

    Genuine for steering coupler

I like UUC black trans mounts. For OE go lemforder. M3 version is double cost and feels the same but likely will last a little longer. I typically like Corteco or Febi (Bilstein) for rubber mounts and Lenforder when a bearing/ball joint is involved.

Dexron III ATF for steering fluid. This is what I prefer:

I just want to clarify: my car has the regular Corteco engine mounts. Not the M3 ones.

Thanks for your and fredo's input. Placed order mounts with FCP.

How many quarts for steering fluid? I can get these from O'Reilly's.

Corteco or Lemforder brand engine mounts are both good options. I prefer the E46 M3 ones over the non-m parts since they are full rubber vs being fluid filled. Consider them an oe+ upgrade for non-m cars. Last time I ordered a set cost was roughly the same.

E46 M3 mounts are also fluid filled. Only the Group N mounts are solid rubber.

    - engine mounts
    - coilovers
    - spark plugs

    - UUC exhaust
    - subframe reinforcement
    - WP, thermostat, expansion tank. I had new rad hoses but forgot from all this work

In the midst of all that, I also admired the absolute cleanest BMW valvetrain either me or my friends have ever seen…damn. Photos later for sure.

Consequentially, a lot of this was possible by picking off my old car. So the old car got a
    - front subframe swap
    - suspension swap with the ZHP
    - removed manual transmission and exhaust system.

Who knows what else. Hell of a weekend. Bribes two of my friends to make this all possible.
    Wow, awesome!
